How do tickets work?
All tickets include commemorative tasting glasses and unlimited 2 oz. samplings of unique regional, national, and international specialty craft brews. Tickets can be purchased in advance or upon entry. Ticket availability is not guaranteed upon entry, so get your tickets early!
Cap City Beer Fest is free to enter, but you must purchase a ticket to receive a wristband to participate in the brew sampling. Attendees must be over the age of 21 with proof of ID to receive their wristband upon entry. Only attendees with wristbands are permitted to consume alcohol.
Is it just beer?
NO! Aside from the unlimited brew samplings, Cap City Beer Fest offers food, fun, & more! We have a variety of food vendors including a variety of food options available for purchase. We also have lawn games available such as Giant Jenga, cornhole, and musical entertainment.
Is the event family-friendly?
Yes, all family are welcome! We have non-alcoholic drinks and food available. Water and treats are available for our four-legged family members as well! *Please note: ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES.
Is parking available?
Street parking is free on Sundays, but limited. There are public parking lots and garages available throughout the downtown area. If you are drinking, please don’t be driving home! Included with your ticket purchase is a Lyft discount code for safe travel home. Ridesharing, carpooling, and bicycling are encouraged!
What if it rains?

When is Cap City Beer Fest?
Cap City Beer Fest is hosted annually on the first Sunday of November. This year, the event will take place on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm (with VIP admission starting at 1:00 pm).
Where does Cap City Beer Fest take place?
The 2024 Cap City Beer Fest will take place in downtown Baton Rouge on of N. 4th Street between North Street and Spanish Town Road.
What’s new this year?
Not much of a beer drinker? That’s okay! This year we are excited to offer new categories of BREWS: think seltzers, meads, kombuchas, & more! We will also be featuring a food truck round up at the event this year!

Ticket holders are not eligible for any refund due to postponements or cancellation on account of such circumstances.
